Drinking Water Filters

Our countertop and under-counter drinking water filters all use the same Claryum filtration technology. The systems take out the contaminants but leave in the beneficial minerals to produce safe and healthy water at a proper pH. 

Claryum is a combination of activated carbon, carbon block technology and BASF’s ATS ion-exchange resin. The system has several advantages over the reverse osmosis (RO) filter systems (domestic and imported) found in China: 

1) 3rd-party certified performance testing for removal of the most important contaminants, especially pesticides, herbicides, solvents and other VOCs. These carcinogenic chemicals pass through a RO filter which doesn’t have the proper carbon filters. China uses chloramines to sterilize water, which quickly destroys most cheap carbon filters commonly added to most RO systems.

2) No need to wait for the RO storage tank to fill up. Water is always available on demand.

3) Simple, reliable design, no maintenance costs or upkeep to make sure it’s working properly.

4) Filtered water is an ideal pH. RO often drops the pH very low, creating an acidic water.

5) Filtered water retains a great tasting, healthy mineral content. RO water is demineralized. 

6) No water storage tank to risk bacterial, cyst or algae contamination, such as with RO systems.

7) Adapted for use in China. We add a pre-filter system to deal with the higher sediment loads often found in China. In addition, our 3rd-party testing is done with contaminant loads much much higher than those found in China’s Tier-1 cities, and at a variety of pH values and with harder water (such as that found in Beijing).
